When you’re short, like me, putting together the perfect outfit is NOT an easy task. It involves a lot of pinning, a lot of tucking and in some cases some cutting. Being 5″ 1’ has its advantages but when it comes to finding clothes that fit properly might find yourself venturing into the kids section. Here are 10 things I’m sure every petite girl can agree with!
1. You come to realize that belts and saftey pins are your best friends.
2. You always wear your pants cuffed or tucked up when you are too lazy to get them hemmed.
3. You realize you are always looking up to talk to people.
4. You get to shop in the kids section!
5. You can never wear a maxi dress. It is always wearing you.
6. There is no such thing as short shorts for you.
7. Topshop’s petite section was the best thing that ever happened to online shopping.
8. Kourtney K, Nicole Richie & Eva Longoria kill the short girl fashion game and you copy all of their outfits.
9. You will never run into the problem of sleeves being too short.
10. No matter what you do your legs are never going to look like Gisele Bundchen’s.
